Good evening,
Students are out of school on both Thursday and Friday this week for fieldwork. Our two classes of 25 are named Skipper or Admiral. Each class will be doing either Humanities or STEM fieldwork on either day. See below for details. Your son or daughter will be able to tell you whether they are in Skipper or Admiral.
For the day that they have STEM fieldwork, your son or daughter will travel by minibus to the sites and work alongside staff and experts. They will be out of school all day so will need a packed lunch, wellies or old shoes and a waterproof top. If your son or daughter has free school meals, we will provide a packed lunch.
For the Humanities fieldwork, students will be outdoors so will need to dress appropriately but will return to school for lunch. School will start and finish at the usual time on both days, for both classes.
