It’s been a hectic week at XP (when is it ever not!) but I’d just like to take a moment to share my thanks with all X26 parents who have supported the X26 students and staff, so far this year. Thank you each and every one of you who showed our students how much their hard work here at XP means, by attending their first and outstanding Presentation of Learning. What students shared with us was their exceptional knowledge of World War One- I am proud to say I don’t know of any other school where this level of understanding would be accomplished, let alone shared with a huge audience- true courage.
In true XP style, students still showed compassion and caring for others by brightening the school up with their Christmas wishes and decorating a lovely tree donated by Crew EJN. Oh, and to top it all off, students and staff from across the school brought in donations for Balby Food Bank!
Donations of non-pershable food, as well as treats such as selection boxes, chocolates, biscuits etc. will still be collected up until Friday 20th December, if you’d like to share a little joy this Christmas.
