Students of C29 enjoyed learning about life as a miner at the National Coal Mining Museum in Wakefield as part of the expedition ‘From the Ground Up’. The aim of the fieldwork was for the students to immerse themselves in what it was like to be a miner through the ages and see the different types of equipment that the miners would have used.
