X24 have had a fantastic visit to the International Slavery Museum in Liverpool. We saw exhibits that helped us to put our studies of the slave trade and prejudice into context. It’s been a real pleasure watching our students working hard, getting smart and being kind to each other and the other visitors to the museum today.
On Thursday 29th November, C24 students will be going on fieldwork to The International Slavery Museum in Liverpool.
We will be setting off from XP School at 8am. Therefore, students MUST be at school in time to leave.
Students will need to bring a packed lunch to eat whilst we are at the Museum.
We expect to return to school for 3.30pm.
I would like to take this opportunity to apologise for not providing this information sooner. We have been waiting for the Museum to confirm arrangements which has taken much longer than expected.
It’s fantastic to see our X24 students working so hard during our first week back. Praise butterflies this week were awarded to Isaac, Vinnie, Aaisha, Chris, Jaggy, Courtney, Kyra, Bella, Charlotte, Milla, Charlie and Harpreet. Butterflies were awarded by staff and by students for consistent hard work, being kind, showing compassion and in one case – for being epic!
Well done everyone!
