All Together Now Final Product

During the Year 7 All Together Now expedition for 2015/16 students looked at examples of successful communities and unsuccessful communities and how they had come together to make it more successful. Students then produced a written reflection on the answer to the guiding question. They also produced a watercolour painting of an aspect of what they felt makes a successful community.

The final product for this expedition was an e-book that has an edited section of their work alongside their painting. This is the e-book…

Making a Stand Final Product 2015

One of XP’s year 7 expeditions in 2015 was ‘Making a stand’. This expedition allowed students to explore their opinions on subjects which resulted in a written speech as their final product.

Each student chose their own topic that they felt passionate about and put their views into a speech. This speech was then presented in one of XP’s Celebration of Learning evening’s which allowed students to perform extracts from their speech in front of their family and those of other students.

This booklet is a collection of the speeches produced by our Year 7 students in 2014/2015.
