Good morning, we are at the stage where we need specific information about your son / daughter for the optional fieldwork. We would kindly request that if your son / daughter does not have a passport, that you apply for this as soon as possible. You can do this online, or pick up a form at a main Post Office. The travel company will need passport information in the next few weeks, and we would appreciate your support with this. If your son / daughter already has a passport, please could they bring it in and hand it to their Crew Leader, who will photocopy the necessary information.
To ensure that all participants are medically insured for the optional fieldwork, your son / daughter will EITHER need an EHIC card, OR a GHIC card. If the EHIC card will still be valid for the end of June next year, there is no need to apply for a GHIC card. If the latter is needed, please do this online, following the Government’s website for this. This is free of charge. Again, we would ask you to apply for this card, if needed, as soon as possible.
