Thank you to the parents of students in C26 and C25 (year 9 and year 10) involved in the Madrid 2022 optional visit that have already provided a photocopy of their child/ren’s passport details page. This information will be requested by our travel company, on behalf of our airline, shortly after Christmas.
If you don’t yet have a passport for your child/ren, your child/ren’s passport has expired, or there are fewer than six months remaining on this document after we return on Monday 27th June 2022, then could I remind you that you need to apply for one as soon as possible? For details of applying for or renewing a passport please visit the UK government website here. Crew Leaders of students for whom we don’t have a photocopy of a valid passport will be asked to contact home soon to verify that your child/ren has this document, so that we can provide these details to our travel company when they are requested.
Additionally, if you do not have a valid European Health Insurance Card (E.H.I.C.) for your child/ren, then please be aware that these have now been superseded by the General Health Insurance Card (G.H.I.C.) that is completely free-of-charge, and details may be found here. We ask that you take out an E.H.I.C. or a G.H.I.C. to supplement the basic travel insurance policy that we have arranged.
Finally, a polite reminder that the next payment instalment date is 31st December, although you are free to make overpayments at any time. Thank you.
