Earlier this week we harvested the vegetables grown at XP & XP East. Planted from seed and nurtured through the summer, we were very pleased with what we had produced.
6 bags of freshly grown beetroot, leeks, carrots and potatoes were then delivered to Thorne Food Bank.
We received a fantastic reaction from the food bank and are so pleased that we have been able to support others in our community in this way. Students and staff have learnt so much from all aspects of this expedition slice.
