Year 7 have been set some extended study through Google Classroom. They can access this by logging into the school website and then clicking on the google classroom app button in the apps section of the page.
Students need to complete the quiz on states of matter. This quiz will help them memorise the characteristics of particles in solids, liquids and gases. In order to make sure that this sticks, they should complete the quiz multiple times until they repeatedly get 100%.
This should be completed by ready for Monday morning of next week please as we will be doing an assessment then.
A note on accessing Google Classroom on home devices
It would be really helpful if students could have their school google accounts added to their phone. I have helped most students to do this, but some have parental controls on their devices that prevent them from adding accounts.
If you could please help them by going to the devices settings menu in Android or IOS and then selecting:
Accounts, Add account, Google
It will then ask you to input the email address. Student email addresses are:
[email protected] for example [email protected]
In most cases you will then be asked to select XP School as the school and then input the username and password. Student usernames are:
forename.surname26 for example martin.said26 (i.e. the email without the @ domain info)
Your son or daughter will be able to tell you their password.
