Mrs Desborough, Mrs Salter and Miss Wilkinson were delighted to host the X28 reading reward breakfast with twenty two students who completed their extended study reading of the book ‘Ghost Boys’ by Jewel Parker Rhodes.
All twenty two students fully engaged with the book and as a result have produced some beautiful work. The book supported the ‘Being Human’ expedition and extended the students understanding of civil rights and racism.
The students were treated to breakfast, juice and a little treat of a gel pen, mechanical pencil and milkshake straw to enjoy when they are next relaxing with a book.
