Our Year 10 BTEC Sport students enjoyed an inspiring week working with the Lead Sports Scientist from Doncaster Rovers Academy.
Throughout the sessions, students were introduced to a range of cutting-edge technologies used to track academy football players and support their performance development. It was fantastic to see many of them getting hands-on with the equipment, gaining a real understanding of how these tools are used in professional sport.
In addition, students had the opportunity to discuss the wide variety of career pathways within the sports industry and the qualifications needed to pursue them. We hope the experience has sparked curiosity and ambition, inspiring the next generation of Sports Scientists.
The year 10’s have made an incredible start to their BTEC course and it was been lovely to read their work this term. Please keep up all the hard work.
