What a fantastic week for Crew ABT! 🎉
We are incredibly proud to celebrate 100% attendance this week. Every member of Crew ABT has shown commitment, resilience and a fantastic attitude by being in school every day and ready to learn.
This is a brilliant achievement and shows the strength of our Crew when we work together, support each other and take responsibility.
A huge well done to everyone in Crew ABT – keep it going! 💪🔥

Good morning from slightly warmer and sunny Silkstone.
Slower start this morning, some tired feet and extra tired faces today.
Day 3 is upon us, they have all shown true grit and determination and as they embark on the last leg they will no doubt dig that bit more to get through.
We will keep you posted on our arrival time home

Just a little update!
We’ve arrived at the campsite and now setting up tents. It’s a little drizzly but in good spirits… we think they will be in asleep early tonight!
Photo is the last leg before they arrived at the campsite!

A few tired faces this morning, but we are up and ready to face day 2 of our expedition.

Great start to our expedition. All in good spirits and navigating ian unknown environment.
We met the cutest little blond Owl called Errol… making memories before we started

Crew MWI are now Crew Pratchett

C32 are back from the summer break and ready to smash year eight!
Whilst coming together during crew week and then heading straight into immersion for expedition 8.1 which included fieldwork to Danes Dyke, Crew MWI also had another task. Cementing our Crew name. While they had all enjoyed being Crew MWI during year 7 it was time to reflect on the values of our crew, our school and our community to decide on who would be our crew patron.
After much deliberation, reflection and pondering a decision was reached unanimously. So without further ado, Crew MWI are now named
Click on the link to see the presentation which we put together in crew to show our reasoning behind why Sir Terrance David John Pratchett became our patron.
As our wonderful C29’s progress through their final year in school, there are a number of ways you can support their learning from home.
As such, we would like to invite all Y11 parents and students to our Y11 GCSE Information Evening at XP East on Thursday, 17th September from 4:30-5:30pm.
This evening will focus on providing information about exam layout/content, alongside information and guidance around the revision/work required for each exam and component. This was a really useful evening last year, to ensure parents know how to best support our wonderful Y11s throughout their GCSEs. Subject leads and some teachers will also be around if you have any questions.
We look forward to seeing you here!
Best wishes,
Y11 Team
