Another amazing week of extra curricular in PE. Its been filled with some great wins and fantastic goals. Well done to the students who were awarded players of the match what a brilliant achievement.

Netball faced a tough opposition on Wednesday against Hayfield, unfortunately the year 8 team were unsuccessful but we gave them a good game. Well done to the year 7 team who won 2-1 it was a great team effort.

The year 7/8 girls football team played in a tournament against school across Doncaster, they had 3 fantastic wins. A few great goals and saves made in each of the games.

Finally to the KS4 badminton, hosted here at XP. The group of year 10 and 11 students played really well.

Next week in PE

Monday- Year 7 boys football fixture away return to XP school at 5.15.

Tuesday – Year 7/8 girls football training and KS3 Badminton practice

Wednesday- Netball practice

Thursday- Cheerleading practice

Crew Dufton is excited to announce a fantastic event coming up this Thursday, December 12th! We’re hosting a Zumba session to raise money and awareness for the British Heart Foundation, and we’d love for as many students and staff as possible to join us.

We have set an ambitious goal this academic year: we are aiming to raise £500 for the British Heart Foundation. To help achieve this, we’ve set up a JustGiving page where anyone can donate and support this important cause.

To make the session as fun and engaging as possible, we’ve invited a professional Zumba Instructor to lead the way. Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or completely new to Zumba, this is the perfect opportunity to get active, have a laugh, and support an important cause.

The session is open to students and staff alike, with a minimum donation of just £1 to take part. However, we encourage everyone to donate what they feel and help make a difference for heart health.

Let’s come together as a community, work hard, and show kindness by supporting the British Heart Foundation. See you on the dance floor! 🕺💃

From today, Y11’s Learn 2 Earn rewards scheme is back!

Students have the opportunity to collect stamps on ‘loyalty cards’ for outstanding contributions in Learning labs and at D6 – this year, staff are able to award stamps to class superstars – if students are going above and beyond to contribute in sessions/work hard, staff will award extra stamps!

When their cards are complete (after 10 sessions), students need to hand them back in; there’ll be a half termly draw for a gift card for those attending the most sessions!

Please encourage students to get these filled in to claim those prizes (take a look at a small selection below!) 🙂
