C29 Presentation of learning
Good Morning parents,
Year 9 will be presenting their learning for their expedition “You give me fever” on Wednesday 16th April, 4:15 – 5:45.
This is a whole year 9 event in which your child will be showcasing their learning in a health conference. It is an integral part of XP culture for students to have this opportunity and is crucial to their development in school and afterwards therefore attendance is, as ever, compulsory.
If you or your child is unable to attend please contact the crew leader who will let us know. If there are any students absconding from POL they will be expected to present to a group of peers and staff in school.

Year 11 Easter Study Sessions
Please see attached our in-school study offer for over the Easter break. The timetable has been updated to include an additional 3D Design session on Monday 7th April.
Morning sessions will run from 10am – 12pm, and afternoon sessions will run from 12:30 – 2:30pm (with the exception of BTEC Sport on 10.04.2025, which will run from 9:30am).
All sessions will take place in XP East’s building, so students should head there to meet staff.
These sessions will really support each subject so if you can attend, please do.

Easter revision 3D design
3D design students have a revision session opportunity on Monday 7th April. Mr. Jackson will be in from 10am – 2pm and will work with students to prepare for the upcoming exams w/c 21st April
Crew Brunel: A Term of Reflection
As we reflect on another incredible term, Crew Brunel has shown what it means to work together, embracing challenges, and celebrating each other’s achievements. This term has been filled with successes, meaningful reflections on our Habits of Work and Learning (HoWLs), and unforgettable moments of community spirit.
One of the shining stars of our school celebration was Pippa, our Crew Champion for the term! Pippa earned the most praise points for our crew, a true testament to her work ethic and positive attitude. Her consistency in both her academic work and her supportive nature towards others has made her a role model for the rest of the crew. We are all so proud of her and look forward to seeing her continue to shine in the future.
As we head into the next term, Crew Brunel is more motivated than ever to continue growing and achieving together. We know that success isn’t just about grades; it’s about the relationships we build, the challenges we overcome, and the way we support each other along the way. Crew Brunel has shown that with hard work, dedication, and a commitment to our HoWLs, there is no limit to what we can achieve. Here’s to another fantastic term of success, learning, and community.

Lost Property at XP
This morning, students in Crew Nightingale laid out the lost property items from this term for students at break and lunch to look at and retrieve their lost items.
Not much has been reclaimed. If items are not claimed by the first week back, the lost items will be taken to a charity shop.
What a week in PE
We had some sporting success from two XP East students this week who won the Sheffield Hallamshire womens and girls league cup for U12’s. Amazing achievement from the girls. We love sharing our stories at XP Doncaster and are really proud of the their achievements.
This week we have had our last Year 7 netball game at the Year 7 netball tournament, where the students also got to meet England Roses and Manchester Thunder netball player Natalie Metcalf . The team have shown immense progress this season and the girls are starting to find their positions and working together as a team. Well done to our players of the match. We look forward to next season.
