New year, new name

Crew MWI are now Crew Pratchett

C32 are back from the summer break and ready to smash year eight!

Whilst coming together during crew week and then heading straight into immersion for expedition 8.1 which included fieldwork to Danes Dyke, Crew MWI also had another task. Cementing our Crew name. While they had all enjoyed being Crew MWI during year 7 it was time to reflect on the values of our crew, our school and our community to decide on who would be our crew patron.

After much deliberation, reflection and pondering a decision was reached unanimously. So without further ado, Crew MWI are now named

Crew Pratchett!

Phenomenal Character Traits Shown in 8 Explorer’s English

WOW! What an incredible session 8 Explorer had this afternoon. They were fully engaged in their English lesson with Mr Wilmot.

Their focus and enthusiasm was clear as they gave fantastic answers to Mr Wilmot’s questions about the book. I saw numerous students consult their anchor text to double check their answers and show courage when they gave their responses.

Additionally, their books show the highest levels of quality and craftsmanship. There was not a single book that I was not thrilled with. It shows this class are productive and engaged in sessions.

I cannot wait to see more of your books and hear your theories about your anchor text!
