Over the past two days, our amazing Year 9 students have completed their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Qualifying Expedition and we couldn’t be prouder of what they’ve achieved! 🙌✨
From the early starts to the final steps back into camp, students navigated their routes with focus and independence, worked brilliantly in their crews, and demonstrated all the core values of DofE – resilience, responsibility, and respect 🌍🧭
They set up camp, cooked their own meals, looked out for one another, and powered through with a smile (most of the time!). Even when tiredness kicked in or routes took longer than planned, they didn’t give up, instead they supported each other, kept moving, and finished strong. 💪🥣⛺
The expedition wasn’t just about completing the route – it was about personal growth, building crew relationships, and proving to themselves what they’re capable of. This has been a real milestone for our Y9s, and every single one of them should feel incredibly proud.
👏 Huge congratulations to all students – you’ve smashed it! We can’t wait to see how you carry this forward into the rest of your XP journey.
More updates and pics to come.
