Good Afternoon,
I am writing this blog on the back of teaching year 9 this afternoon and preparing for our POL. I had a high number of students expressing they would not be in attendance on Monday night. I have explained to students that POL is an essential part of our community at XP and attendance is expected (unless absolute emergencies) by every student.
If POL is missed, students are expected to present their learning to an alternative audience of staff and other students in applicable circumstances.
If you anticipate your child will not be attending can you please let crew leaders know. It takes a significant amount of planning for these events and non attendance makes preparation difficult due to lack of investment from students not attending as well as the evening when students don’t attend without notice.
Thanks for your support and understanding!
Another amazing week of extra curricular in PE. Its been filled with some great wins and fantastic goals. Well done to the students who were awarded players of the match what a brilliant achievement.
Netball faced a tough opposition on Wednesday against Hayfield, unfortunately the year 8 team were unsuccessful but we gave them a good game. Well done to the year 7 team who won 2-1 it was a great team effort.
The year 7/8 girls football team played in a tournament against school across Doncaster, they had 3 fantastic wins. A few great goals and saves made in each of the games.
Finally to the KS4 badminton, hosted here at XP. The group of year 10 and 11 students played really well.
