Emmeline Pankhurst
We wanted Emmeline Pankhurst as our crew name because she was an amazing, empowering woman. She didn’t just inspire other women but men as well, and made our community a better place. To this day thousands of people across the world have an opportunity to vote, however during Emmeline Pankhurst’s time, women did not have that choice. For her to stand up for all women takes great courage and the hate she received made her stronger as a person. All women should have the opportunity to vote. To make a life changing decision. To not have the world run by men. Without Emmeline Pankhurst, women would not be able to vote and because she changed that, we are proud to call our crew, Crew Pankhurst.
