XP.’s sole purpose is to expedite the practice of experiential project based learning in the UK.
Taking the lead from similar organisations in the USA such as High Tech High, Expeditionary Learning and the Buck Institute for Education, our aim is to bring people and organisations together, providing the tools and framework to spread our shared pedagogy and successfully implement it.
We will open, affiliate and train schools in our practice, walking the walk as well as talking the talk, effectively practicing what we preach.
Our first steps include:
- opening our first XP. school in September 2014
- organising an XP. conference in 2013
- creating a hub of people, organisations and resources in 2012
