After arriving at the outward bound centre in Ullswater on Tuesday and meeting our instructor, Simon, crew Barnes got started with our adventure by getting on our hands and knees and crawling into The Tunnels.
This was a fantastic caving experience in the Outward Bound centre grounds where we had to challenge ourselves by facing fears and working as a team to map the cave system. We had to crawl shuffle and slide through some very small holes and try to figure out where we were!
I was so proud of the way that crew worked together to help each other when they were stuck, when they got upset and to complete the task.
How small were those tunnels?!?
