We are delighted to be working with Natural England and Serendipity Art.
Our students have been commissioned to produce some animations which raise awareness of the stunningly beautiful, and from an environmental perspective, incredibly important Hatfield and Thorne Moors.
All students will be doing fieldwork at Hatfield Moor on Monday 8th December. They will be at the site for around 90 minutes.
We are expecting some cold weather next week so it is really important that your son or daughter has something warm and waterproof to wear. The site is a peat bog, so a change of sturdy shoes or wellies is advised too.
Students in the X-Block class X2 will be having their lunch at the site so they will need a packed lunch. All other students will eat their lunch in school. (Money already paid for lunch from X2 students will be carried over so you need to pay a little less for the week commencing 15th December).
Finally we are asking students to take photographs whilst they are there, that may be used for artwork for their animations. If they have a camera or a phone/device with a camera, it would be great if they could bring those too.
