We are posting details of our fieldwork visit to Madrid, as a reminder of the measures that parents and carers need to take prior to our departure from the UK, to comply with the Spanish authorities’ current travel requirements:
From 12.45 p.m. on Tuesday 21st June, students who have NOT received two Covid-19 vaccinations must take a PCR test (currently available for £39.00 from the Frenchgate Centre) and report the results to [email protected]. This test has to be taken within 72 hours prior to our arrival in Spain.
Students that HAVE received two Covid-19 vaccinations must present proof of their vaccination status, either by bringing in a printout of their medical confirmation or by sharing a screen-shot of their Covid status on the NHS app to: [email protected].
On Wednesday 22nd June or Thursday 23rd June (i.e. within 48 hours of our departure) ALL participants must complete an online health declaration by logging onto this website: https://www.spth.gob.es
Students and staff are really looking forward to this fieldwork visit, as we are sure to have a fantastic experience. The final itinerary and FAQs document will be e-mailed out separately to all parents and carers.
Please note that the Presentation of Learning for the visit, originally scheduled for Monday 18th July, has had to be brought forward to Friday 15th July from 4.00 – 5.00. We look forward to seeing our parents and carers there.
