We are coming to the end of our expeditions, where students will be working hard on getting their drafts ready for final products. At this point in the term demand for devices is very high. Smartphones are great for classroom research and app based tasks, but for the type of tasks in which students are now engaged, laptops and tablets are much more appropriate.
We have a limited number of such devices in school, so it is really important that if students do have access to one, that they bring their device every day fully charged.
