The Year 7 fieldwork taking place this week will be at the National Coal Mining Museum.
Students will be leaving school and returning during the school day.
They will need a pack up lunch, though we can provide one for students who do not pay for school meals.
Students will be going down the mine shaft, and it is quite cold down there so they will need a hoodie or top to put on over a t shirt.
School bags are put in a store once parties arrive. So ideally students should bring their pack up in a plastic bag as they will need to dispose of them once they have eaten. Students will only need to bring a pen other than their pack up.
