Blind Football Awareness Event with Doncaster Rovers

There will be an event run by Club Doncaster Foundation tomorrow aimed at raising awareness of disability football with a focus on visual impairment.

Students have been made aware and for those students who wish to take part, the details are as follows.

Parents can drop off students and are welcome to stay and spectate. If parents wish to attend the game, they will need to purchase tickets themselves. Parents can collect students from XP School car park at 17.00.

Students will need usual football kit to take part in sessions and a packed lunch and drink for the day. Students may take a change of clothes or some warmer kit for when they watch the game.

12.45 Arrive at 3G/astro-turf pitches as Keepmoat.

13.00-15.00 Blind football experience

15.00-17.00 Watch Doncaster v Wigan using specialist equipment aimed at improving the experience for blind people.

17.00 Collect students from XP School car park.
