As part of the immersion for their “Being Human” expedition, year 8 (12 and 13 years) students had a still life drawing session. They were given a short time to make sketches of a human skeleton model from different viewpoints. Here are some examples of beautiful sketches created by Zara, Aimee & Oliwia.
The skills they learned in this session will be very useful during our fieldwork in Newcastle on Thursday 8th.
Students in Year 8 are asked to bring their own device every Friday so that are able to begin writing reflections on the expedition as they progress through it. This is in preparation for part of their final product which is a speech that answers our guiding question; What does it mean to be human?
