This week in crew, Crew Hoy have been re-establishing their bonds and spending time together. An important part of this was our crew breakfast.
It is important to us to sit around a table, sharing chats and food whilst being polite and being stewards of our space.
I really enjoyed finding out about your summer and what had gone on for crew during my absence. We have decided this is an event we would like to repeat each half term.

What a start to Year 10 we have had! Our Guiding Question for this week has been “How can we ensure our future selves thank us for the next 2 years?” – looking at 3 different mini case studies!
More to come on the overall tasks this week… But our fieldwork this week took us out to Lakeside Shopping Village, where – as part of our A-Z tasks – we took some beautiful roses, and handed them to unsuspecting members of the public – or we left them around to be found and taken to new homes. We asked if, they were found, emails could be sent to Miss Cocliff so we knew where they ended up… and today? 2 responses!
Let’s see how many more activities we can facilitate this year, crew, to have that positive impact on our local community!
